First this is a simple thin sleeve made of neoprene, it is sponge like, soft, durable with a light amount of padding and will fit the majority of 15.4 thinner laptops very easily with a little room to spare. I know it will fit all the Sony, HP, and Gateway 15.4 standard laptops.

I ordered the red and black and really like the color combo over the otehr few choices and this will show the least amount of dirt over time being it is black on the outside. This neoprene is easy to dust/wipe off from time to time as needed.

Pay attn when ordering as they have a 14.1, 15.4 and 17 inch sleeves in the same color choices but it is easy to get them confused with the exact sku number and or using the drop down to select color. It seems that the price varies a little depending on the color.

In my case I bought this for a Sony 15.4 notebook and it fits very well with some room to spare. I bought it to keep the dust off the laptop when turned off and not being used and for when I do carry it in my back pack. This sleeve will allow me to put things in the same pocket in the backpack, messenger bag, or for a woman with a large purse.

I would NOT suggest just carrying the laptop around in the sleeve by itself as it has no handles and it is only very lightly padded so drop protection is minimal at best.

If you are a student and have a lighter weight laptop and are just going class to class on campus with a book or two you probably could carry it under you arm with your books but again you risk the chance of dropping it or someone knocking it out of your grasp.

I would recommend this product more as a dust cover and scratch deterent especially when carrying your laptop in other bags (backpack, messenger, purse) with various loose items.

Simple too, order it, try it, and it if doesn't fit or you don't like it, return it via Amazon with no issues as they will provide you with the return label and postage as they do with virtually any product you order from them.

I bought this case for my 15'' macbook pro and it was huge! Its of really good quality but too big for my computer. I have many products from this brand and all of them are very good, so I was excited to get this case, but its a couple inches too big.

I got so sick and tired of lugging around bulky, expensive "laptop cases" the other day, so I got on Amazon looking for a more manageable solution. Amazon recommended this, and I love it! It snuggly cradles my Dell Inspiron 6000, and has plenty of padding.

What I like most is now I can grab whichever bag I want (backpack, messenger bag, carry-on), and just drop the sleeve in with my other junk. Perfect solution, and I didn't have to buy an overpriced, name brand POS laptop bag.

It wont fit much more than a 15.4" wide screen notebook, but I didn't want it to carry anything else. Thats what my backpack is for.

I just bought this sleeve today for my HP 15.4" widescreen laptop. It fits perfectly snug, but it would be nicer if there was a little thicker foam padding between the layers. The cloth inside is soft and keeps my laptop free from scratches. If you're looking for a nice sleeve for general protection, I definitely recommend this product. The most common thing I can agree on is that the colors Belkin show onscreen differ from the actual product - I bought the black/green sleeve. The green looked like a nice, soft green, but was actually more of a lime green/borderline neon green.

This little sleeve works great. Protects my laptop nicely, nice and cushy. Especially with airport security throwing my laptop.(no Exaggeration) The sleeve protected it wonderfully from the impact. Fits my 15.4 in Hp Pavilion perfect. Only thing I would change was I wish it had a handle.

After having read prior review, I selected this for my Acer. It is a perfect fit! The material is sturdy, as is the zipper. The black/claret color is attractive & easy to maintain. My notebook is safe at home and away. I'd recommend this highly!

This product worked great on my 15.4 inch widescreen HP notebook. It even has a little extra room for me to add a microfiber cloth along with it which I use to clean my notebook. I love the zipper design, because it makes an easy job of pulling my notebook in/out of the sleeve. It is sturdy and very pleasant looking. The only drawback I find is that the neoprene gets hurt very easily. When my relatives brought this back from the USA with them, they had it folded in two and I still haven't been able to get the creases that made, out of the material.

This Belkin 15.4 inch Notebook Sleeve fits my Dell Latitude D820 perfectly. I felt that my notebook bag would not provide enough padding for my notebook, so I bought this sleeve to add a small bit of padding, which it does perfectly. Because the zipper wraps halway around the case, I don't even have to remove the sleeve from the bag to take my notebook out. The colors go very well with my bag as well. Well-made, padded, and a perfect fit - can't ask for anything more.

Fits my 15.4 inch sony viao FZ-4000 with bigger battery snugly but not to tight, the perfect tightness. you also have the choice to put it in from the side or the top of the case. its nice because you can place and remove your computer from your bag without removing the case! the neoprene allows the case to stick to your bag, and the material on the inside allows the comp to slide right out. the case also has as good protection as any of the other cases in this class.

Although it says it can fit laptops that are 15.4-inches, my laptop itself is 15.5 inches and it fits it with a considerable amount of extra space. It actually feels like it can fit slightly larger laptops however I would suggest using the dimensions of your laptop and comparing it to the dimensions to the actual case. That is probably the best way to ensure that your laptop can fit.

But for it iself, the color is nice, the neoprene is smooth and feels comfortable in the hands to carry. It definitely protects from the dust and the elements, and it can withstand the debris from carrying it in a bag.

Definitely pick this one up if you are worried about some protection from the elements when carrying a laptop in a backpack, messenger bag, or just carrying it. This one wont protect from drops or something though.

I bought this for my niece along with her pink Dell 1525. It is such a compact, well-made sleeve that I bought it for my own pink Dell. Yes, it is also pink. Anything pink lately is not only 'in' for girls it's in the good cause of breast cancer. The pink bag I bought to carry the laptop in just didn't have enough padding when putting it in the hands of a 14 year old; this sleeve did the trick.

I was a little worried when i purchased this product because my notebook is on the larger side for a 15.4" computer (Asus m50-vm) and i thought there was the possibility that my notebook wouldn't fit. This was the second sleeve I tried. I returned one to BB that was just too tight. This has enough space so that zipper does not need to be stretched over laptop. I like that zipper is on long and short side to open either way. This is just the right size to fit into my bag as it's not too much bigger than MBP. Very happy with it so far, hope it holds up well.

This sleeve by Belkin is a great lower-cost product. The padding is not as much as other sleeves on the market, but you will definitely get good protection for your laptop when putting it into a backpack or messenger bag. Looks just like the picture which is very sleek. The fabric on the inside is great and doesn't scratch your case at all. Great buy especially for the cost!!

This laptop sleeve is great!! It has enough padding to protect it on the go. I'm currently deployed and we have to walk about a block to the rec center to get Wi-Fi internet, so instead of lugging it around in a huge case or risking carrying it around without anything, this is a great alternative. When the weather is nasty it keeps it from the elements as well as keeping it protected from any bumps. I bought it mainly to slip into my back pack to and from places I travel to and with the side zip option you can just unzip the part at the opening of your backpack for airport security, etc and quickly replace it for easy access. Great product, and the price was very reasonable!

I had second thoughts about ordering this after reading a couple negative reviews. But I am so glad I did! I needed padding around the laptop in a nylon canvas briefcase (the briefcase was a special gift I was given at Christmas, special monogramming and all, but no padding). Fits like it was custon made for it. Very pleased.

I purchased this neoprene sleeve for my Dell Latitude D830. It is a perfect fit. I wanted something that I could keep in my unstructured backpack. I don't have a lot of room in my backpack and this sleeve is cushy but slim. It made it very easy to slip my notebook in and out of without pulling the whole sleeve out of my bag. I think the best feature is that the zipper can open from the top or side. The neoprene was a bit stinky initially, but the smell finally went away. There were several great color combinations to choose from, but this scheme fit my fashion needs. The red color is just as the picture shows. I'm very happy with my purchase. I would recommend this product to anyone with a 15.4" notebook.

I was looking for something to protect my laptop even though I have a backpack for it. This is really a smart good looking a very protective case that fits my laptop like a glove. For me it the chosen color matches the "mousetrap" (mouse pad) for my wireless mouse. It provides good protection from scratches and bumps and it fits nicely in my backpack. Just make sure you order the right size for your laptop.

I got this bag hoping that I could fit my 15" MacBook Pro in it, but it was too big for it. However, it fits my 15" Toshiba Satellite perfectly. If you're looking for a MacBook Pro sleeve, look for one that advertises MacBook fit. Otherwise, give this one a shot for your 15" PC. Very cushiony and great colors!

This product was almost exactly what I wanted. My roommate had ordered a sleeve for her laptop and persuaded me to get one too. I wanted something simple and clean looking which is why I was a little disappointed. The actual color doesn't match the one in the picture. The "white" color is really almost a beige or off-white. It almost looks like it's old or dirty. The inside minty color is great though. Also, the fit is a bit loose. I ordered the one fit exactly for my screen size and I wish it fit more snugly. Other than that, it's great. I got it in no time! Thanks!

Since I usually travel with a satchel as a carry on, I really did not want yet another specifically for my recently acquired laptop. This little number is perfect to protect the finish of the laptop in the satchel and has a little padding to help protect against the bumps it might get going through security and under the "seat in front of you". It's really soft and durable material Belkin made. Although it's a little bit bigger than my macbook pro 15.4", it's ok for me. So, make sure that you measure your laptop size and compare to this sleeve. If it's too big or small, you should find another one.

I have used the notebook sleeve for a little over a month now, and it has done its job well. My computer fits nicely inside, and the soft lining has not scratched the computer. The overall feel of the sleeve is plush, and I feel that it would protect from scratches, but would not be much of a protector if you dropped the laptop in this sleeve. My only regret is the fact that there is not place to put my power cord and mouse, but I purchased the sleeve so that I could put the laptop directly into my bookbag - I didn't want to lug around a "laptop bag," so I will be on the lookout for a small "accessory" bag to complement.

It came the next day, from Philly to NYC. I was really pleased.
The color, somehow, didn't turn up as pretty as the picture here; it is a little duller than I expected, that is why I didn't give it a five. And I found that it would be nice, if a computer sleeve has a handle on it... But still, it is a great product and I love it.

Beware, it really does take 1-2 months to ship, as stated in the item description. I ordered it on July 14, and it arrived today (August 22). And the wait is not worth it-- this sleeve is supposed to be for 15.4-inch laptops, but is way too big for my 15.4 HP laptop. However, it fits my brother's 15.4 Acer just fine. Also, the zipper doesn't go all the way around the case -- it goes down on one side, and zips to a little over to the other side. The material is nice and soft, but the quality is not that great for 30 bucks. ... overall, I'm pretty disappointed, but since it fits my brother's 15.4 Acer, I can't give it too low of a score.

The product quality is fine.
A little roomy for a macbook pro 15 though & the sides are not padded.

The color is supposed to be pink & dove.
In the photos 'dove' looks white.
When I think "dove" I think White or an off white.

Belkins version of "dove" is an ugly tan color.
The photos on Amazon are mis-leading. (same photos on Belkins website)
I know all monitors are different.. & I expect that - but this is not even close!

Ugly tan & mauve.

If your searching for a pretty girl case - keep looking!!

I purchased this for my new apple 15.4 inch macbook pro, The laptop is miles smaller than the bag so the laptop slops around all over the place & the bag is not a full neroprene sleave.On one quater of the sleave where the zip doesnt open is this piss weak thin nylon material ,if the bag ever fell in this area you have no protection what so ever. VERY DISSAPOINTED BELKIN NOT YOUR NORMAL STANDARD AT ALL.Noe after spending $25.00 dollars on one I need to go and buy another because I dont get any felling of asurance that my laptop is protected

I am totally annoyed! That sleeve is at least 17 inches long. It is way too big. Other than that - it is beautiful. Perhaps they sent me the wrong one because it sounds like other customers have not experienced that problem.
