I was very pleased to discover that the reviews are true: this notebook sleeve does fit a 15.4" notebook quite snugly. I lose some options for sticking papers and other things in because my notebook is rather thick, but that is not why I bought the sleeve. I want something that will give my laptop some extra padding while it is banging around in my backpack, and this seems to do the trick.

This is a perfect sleeve for 15 inches or so notebooks (there is also a 17 inch version. It fits just perfectly my 1.3" thicj notebook, but there is room for a bit more in thickness. There is a compartment in the interior to carry some paper sheets too. It is perfect to carry inside you backpack or bag without taking extra space. It has good padding too. Good quality and nothing fancy (black). Check their website while Amazon does not add correct information or photo. Last but not least, it costs half of equivalent ones from other brands. Go for it!

Amazing that they can (or, anyway, did) sell this item for the price. The two I bought were quite sleek and nicely sewn. I've purchase several Fellowes laptop bags and sleeves and have found them to be real bargains. Not only that, but one saved a brand new PowerBook when I went head over heels over a train track in Boston. That bag hit the ground *hard* and the laptop was still perfect. Other bags may look hipper, but Fellowes gets the job done, which is what matters to me.

I ordered this Fellowes BODY GLOVE NOTEBOOK SLEEVE 15IN for my HP Pavilion ZX5000us 15.4 widescreen notebook. At first I thought is might be too tight of a fitting from the dimensions because the height is only 1 inch and my notebook is almost 2 inches. When I found out this baby will stretch because of the neoprene material I gave it a try. The product arrived fast when bought from the Amazon.com store. When I first put it on, speaker side down in first it looked a little too small. All you have to do is pull on the zipper to stretch the fabric and this case fits like a glove. It is almost like a custom made wetsuit for my HP zx500us notebook. I am very happy with my purchase. I use in in my regular large size leather brief bag. It is well protected now as long as I don't drop the bag. I hope this helps.

i bought this notebook sleeve for my hp pavilion zt3000, which has a 15.4" screen. the fit is perfect. the adapter fits in as well and i'm pretty sure a travel-size mouse and a few cables can still fit in without problems. it would be nice to have a version of this item with handles/shoulder strap but if it can fit your backpack/bag/whatever, it will serve you well. this is a great buy.

I bought one of these a year ago, and when I bought a new HP zt3000 with a 15.4" widescreen, it was the only choice. It takes about 30 seconds to remove the metal logo if you are concerned about scratching your laptop. With an inside pocket to store my sales/warranty papers. Perfect.

The thing I liked about this case most was the price. For $13.99 (pre-shipping/tax)you can't beat it. I do wish it fit my laptop better. I have a 14.1" screen and my laptop is about 1.4" thick, and there is plenty of extra room. It sounds like, from reading other reviews, if you have a little bit thicker of a laptop and a 15" screen, this case will be perfect for you. Thickness is not as much of a problem as general length and width of the case. That is where it is suprisingly big. Altogether I am very happy with this case.

Not only was the shipping on this item incredibly fast, but unlike the bag I bought, it was well packaged as well. I've been very happy with the sleeve. It fits my 15.4 inch mac book pro PERFECT, and doesn't even take up that much more space in my bag. It has enough cushion that I dont have to worry about my laptop getting hurt or scratched when im taking it places, but not enough cushion to get annoying. I highly recommend this product.

I ordered this sleeve for a portable printer I have. I figured that the size would be about right and it is, but I was surprised by the quality of this sleeve. I've had other notebook sleeves and they weren't as thick or as well-cushioned as this one.

I also have a 15" laptop that needs a sleeve and I'm going to be ordering one more of these for my computer.

Good news ! There is no longer a metal logo on the outside of the sleeve. It's now a vinyl logo which is stitched on, so your laptop will not be damaged by the former metal logo, as another reviewer posted.

And finally, the bottom-line. It's about $8. under the price of comparable sleeves advertised here on Amazon and it's eligible for Prime shipping which means no-cost or reduced shipping. This is an excellent sleeve at a steal of a deal price !

I purchased this sleeve with the hope that it would fit my Compaq Presario C500 series notebook. Initially the fit was a little too snug for my taste, but after a couple of days of using it, the fit is now perfect and provides that extra cushioning I wanted while the notebook is in my already padded backpack.

and this one is definitely the most padded and seems most durable.
(Bodyglove also makes very good CD cases.)
My 15.4" Macbook Pro fits this a little too tightly for my taste as well, but should fit fine with a couple uses.

I tried this sleeve on three laptops and it fits a 15.4" size snugly, but just fine (in fact the tag says 15.4 on it!). It is well padded on the sides and bottom, but not so much at the zipper. Other reviewers talked about a metal emblem- there is only a sewn emblem on mine, so they must have changed this. For under $12, you can't beat this!

I bought this sleeve for my 6x8 Wacom Intuos3. It fits very well, maybe a little loose, but there is space for the cable and extra papers.

Whatever issues there were with the Bodyglove logo, they seem to be resolved as there is a lining and the logo is rubber and sewn on.

Great sleeve at a great price.

If you have a 15in laptop, this thing fits perfectly. Material is very soft, but holds shape. It has a foam-ish type quality, which is great for protecting your laptop from small impacts. It also provides excellent grip for your hand when carrying your laptop. When it is not used to carry your laptop, you can easily fold it, squish it to make space in your backpack or wherever.

This is a great case if you want to put your laptop inside another bag when you travel. I do a lot of traveling for business and need to fit my personal laptop into the same bag as my business laptop. It is a little big for my 14.1-inch machine, but that was expected. You can't beat the price around ten dollars.

There seems to be some controversy around the metal logo on the bag. I was able to pry off the outer logo easily but the metal clasp on the inside of the bag is a little tricky to get at. I actually had to cut a small hole in the inner liner (not the neoprene) with scissors to get it out, after this I just sealed the cut with white glue to keep it from fraying- still not a big deal. I would never have bothered with this if I hadn't read the other reviews on Amazon.

My Lenovo T60 (with extended battery) fits inside perfectly, and the Body Glove fits neatly in my shoulder bag. The Body Glove is well padded and seems sturdy so far. My only complaint is that the interior pocket falls open too easily, and I often wedge my laptop in there by mistake.

The price is right and the construction as expected, however, my 15.4 Acer will not fit in this sleeve. The sleeve barely fits over my 15.4 Toshiba, so I will keep one, but sell the other. I would have liked a handle on the bag, but no big deal. If you have a 15" or smaller notebook and want some added protection without the big clunky notebook bag approach, this is what you will want. I will use it inside my backpack when I carry the Toshiba. Still looking for something to fit the Acer.

I own a 14.1" HP Pavillion Notebook with a sleek black top. It was hell trying to find a neoprene sleeve made for a 14.1" laptop, to begin with, and to add to the annoyance was how expensive they were. I chose this one because it was on sale and I figured it wouldn't be too much of a loss if it didn't work out.

It works okay, it covers my laptop and is perfect to slide into my backpack, protecting from moisture, and jostling. However, it has a crisp nylon interior, which makes me feel like it's going to scratch or dull the top of my laptop >_<

If you don't care about the cost, I would recommend getting the fully neoprene one, without the nylon inside. Just seems nicer.

I think this product is great. The cushion is firm yet soft enough not to scratch your laptop. My laptop is a smaller HP (14 inch) and it fits nicely into the glove... not leaving too much extra space. It is very snug, and reliable to travel with in a messenger bag, or backpack.

Well almost a year later I guess this has done its job. For those with a standard 15.4" screen, I would probably recommend something else. I thought it would stretch, as other reviewers had mentioned, but I ended up with small holes in the two bottom corners. It has protected the outside of the computer, but it is a struggle every day getting it in. It was inexpensive, but I still have to drop it from my original 4 stars to 3 stars.

The major draw to this item was the price, $14.99. It is a bit tight on my Dell computer, but it serves the purpose - protecting it while it is in my backpack. I will say that after reading a previous reviewers comments on the metal bodyglove logo scrating the top of his laptop, I do place the computer in the sleeve upside down.

Bought this for my daughter's 14 in wide-screen HP laptop and it fits perfectly. I was concerned that she was going to transport her new laptop around loose in a backpack and she did not want to deal with the bulk of a regular notebook case. This is a great alternative. Workmanship is very good. Only thing missing is purse type handles or a shoulder strap or I would give it 5 stars.

I got it for my old Dell (B130, 15.4) and this works well. My laptop fits neatly inside the glove without any problems. If you're willing to spend more money, I'm sure you will be able to find a better product. But for those on a budget or people like myself who just need something simple, this is a good buy.

This is a no frills case that will hold your laptop just fine. So far I've noticed no new dings or scratches on my 15" Powerbook. While the padding feels a little thin and my computer isn't completely snug, for the price, you really can't beat this case.

I bought this about 8 months ago for my Macbook.
I have now bought another of these for my Lenovo T400. I guess that says a lot about it.

Pros
+ Good padding overall. Won't protect your laptop in a 5 feet fall though :)
+ Compact enough for carrying it in other backpacks.

Cons
- Not the most ergonomic to carry, as it lacks handles or shoulder straps.
- Not much room once the laptop's in it. Barely carries my Lenovo power supply and an extra mouse.

Definitely recommended

I think I'd prefer a bit more padding on the bottom as that's the mostly likely place of impact. I'm not saying there is no padding, but not to the degree like you find in the walls.

I bought this sleeve for some extra protection for my 15.4 laptop when not in use. It seems to be handy for storing my laptop neatly in my home and for protecting against the elements during travel (i.e. storing in seat front pocket on airplane). The sleeve also provides some extra cushion for my laptop when it's in my backpack. Product fits my 15.4 inch laptop with a little room to spare for a ipod/usb cable. The material is not quite what I expected but it still provides adequate protection.

I should have known better than to listen to the written reviews saying this would fit a 15.4" laptop. 15.4" laptops come in all different sizes. This sleeve will not adequately protect a Dell Inspiron 1520 15.4". You can force it to zip over this laptop, but it will leave the corners of your laptop protected only by the zipper rather than the padding built into the sleeve. Even worse, the zipper is forced to directly contact the corners of your laptop and can possibly scratch it. You should always try to size a laptop sleeve at your local big-box retailer before you buy online.

I bought this case a few months ago for my iBook to be able to take to school with me in my laptop. It worked okay, my iBook fit with no problem and all the equipment I needed for it fit with room to spare. However, the case collects hair like a magnet which is a problem in a household with pets. IT SHOWS!!!!

The other problem I encountered was that it didn't protect my iBook enough. I eventually resorted to placing a pillow in the bottom of my backpack to protect better when it is put down. It didn't help much and I ended replacing its harddrive when it died.

I would use this product if you need to keep all your laptop things together and plan to put it in a suitcase or a place where it is going to be jolted as little as possible. For people like me, this doesn't work and I will be switching soon to a case with a strap.

May be I should have bought the comp bag for a little more money instead of this sleeve- but for the price it is ok and functional. I slide it into another bag.
Unfortunately it has no handles to hold on to (it would have been more convenient-and even doubled for some sort of a bag-on a short work day/trip).

It is constructed on thin material and it is lacking in side impact protection. Mind you it should work well as an around the office or around the home but it pails in comparison to the timbuk2 product and the neocase that I also own.

I liked the laptop sleeve until the metal body glove logo label on the front chipped the top of my laptop. The label is a metal logo that has 2 prongs that fit through a back piece and then fold over. Well, the prongs were not folded flat and one of them took a huge chip out of the cover of my laptop. I'm lucky I didn't have a tablet or it would have ruined the screen. And Fellowes has an extremely frustrating and complicated claims process. I do not recommend this product. I gave it 1 star because they wouldn't let me give it 0. A protective case that inflicts damage is useless.

There is a little Body Glove metal logo attached to this sleeve. The metal tabs are not exposed; they are covered by the inner surface of the sleeve.

Nonetheless, the metal tabs are harder than the case of my laptop, and the neoprene is thin.

This $10-$20 "protective sleeve" put an 8 inch very visible scratch on the formerly beautiful silver surface of my $2100 laptop.

i got the wrong item shipped. i was supposed to get the RSA number from pc universe but they never bothered to follow up. will not by anything again from pc universe.

I ordered this sleeve and 1 day later got an email from Amazon saying my order was cancelled (without reason being given), ordered again the next day and 1 day later received the same email. If you don't have it then don't put it online.
