I was looking for a case that would protect my iBook (dual USB) against the elements. Since I already had a leather briefcase, I didn't need a separate case. All I needed was something simple that would encase the laptop and guard it from the dust, debris, and occasional raindrop that finds its way into my bag. This case is perfect. The neoprene is soft, water resistant, and provides minimal cushioning. The zipper snaps into place so that it doesn't catch on other items. The rear zipper allows me to charge the computer's battery while keeping it protected in the sleeve.

I've seen other computer sleeves that offer more cushioning, but they also take up a lot of space in your bag. This case is a good trade off. Overall, I'm completely satisfied. Pick up at Circuit City was hassle-free.

I already have a backpack in which I carry my laptop. It didn't have quite as much padding as I wanted and I wanted to protect the laptop from othe items I may carry in the backpack. This sleeve turned out to be the perfect solution. My computer fits perfectly and everything works out great. I have a Dell with a 15" display, the sleeve fits like a glove and adds considerable padding to the situation. This would be a great solution for carrying a computer in a bag not specifically designed for a laptop. Highly recommended.

I Have a Toshiba A105 with a 15 inch screen. The Case Logic NCLE2 fits the Laptop perfectly. It provides protection when I put the PC into my briefcase or backpack. I highly recommend it as cost effective protection of your expensive computer.

This sleeve is just what I wanted to protect my personal laptop. It fits my Toshiba Satellite 15.4" notebook with room to spare. I wanted to keep it snug inside of my carying case, and this is just the perfect thing. Very practical. I recommend this for any laptop owner that wants to prolong the life/appearance of their machine.

I was not at all disappointed when I received my Case Logic Neoprene Notebook Computer Sleeve. It is just the thing you would need especially for traveling long distances, or for those times when you have to attend an all day seminar. As well as holding your computer, this computer sleeve has room enough to hold all confidential documents and then you can put it in your handbag.

What attracted me to it also were the rich black colour and the expensive look of it. It is very durable and should last me a very long time. I am glad I got it. You would like it too.

I spilled car battery acid in my trunk and put my bag (with computer in the neoprene sleeve) in the trunk without realizing! The bag the neoprene sleeve was in disintegrated, but the neoprene sleeve completely protected my laptop from any damage. It clearly had some of the acid on it, but it stayed intact. I had to throw it out, but I'm definitely buying a new one!

I already have a nice carry-on backpack for air travel. I was looking for a way to protect my laptop in that bag, rather than shop for a much more expensive dedicated computer bag. This sleeve worked out very well for that purpose. It's a little loose on my 15.4-inch standard (not-wide) screen laptop from Dell. (Not surprising since it's meant for 17-in screens.) The unit is well padded and slides in and out of my backpack with ease. The zipper on the sleeve has a snap to keep it from dangling loose, which is a nice way to avoid snagging on other items in my pack.

Highly recommended.

I've used the case logic sleeves for years! They offer excellent protection for your computer against scratches and when clearing security at the airport you don't have to take it off for the x-rays. With the sleeve you convert any backpack, briefcase or long purse in your very own laptop carrier.

I recently purchased this computer sleeve from Amazon.com because I couldn't find it anywhere here in Hawaii. I got it within the expected delivery dates. I tried it on my Sony Vaio PCG-FRV series laptop and fits like a glove. This product equalled up to my expectations and I recommend this product for people who like to carry their laptop in their school bag. The only problem I got was the tracking info was wrong. It wasn't Amazon.com to blame but it was the USPS's fault for the tracking.

Great product. Make sure your laptop is BIG (mine is 14 by 11 inches...it's a wide screen). This case adds enough padding to throw the laptop in any bag without adding too much volume.

Very happy with this purchase, though it could use a little handle to help pull it out of my backpack. This fits my Dell Vostro 1510 (15.4" widescreen) with a 9 cell baterry with a little extra room for a 7' ethernet cable.

In another comment I read, there was a comment about the label sewn into the inside. Yes it is rough. Just make sure you but that to the back side of your laptop or take a seam ripper and remove it.

I bought this case to carry my laptop either in a backpack or shoulder bag that didn't have any padding, and it works perfectly. It's light and thin, but I feel like my laptop is well protected. I've been using it (lightly) for over 5 years now and it's still in excellent shape. I have a 15" Dell and it just fits in the sleeve, it definitely isn't made for anything larger. It also fit my older ~13" Compaq perfectly.

I bought this to use for my Dell laptop to bring it inside my backpack to college classes, and so far it has worked great. It has enough padding to protect the laptop while inside the backpack but fits around it tightly so that I can slip it inside the pack easily. The only improvement would be if it had a small handle on it for when I'm not carrying it inside my backpack, but I'll just be buying another case for that after I finish school.

This sleeve is not for iBooks. It's for 15" screen laptop computers and swims on my 12" PowerBook. Maybe it's OK for a 14" iBook, but not a 12" iBook or PowerBook as the other review suggests.

This case does what it does very well, but don't expect any extras. I feel like I can drop my laptop into a backpack along with several textbooks and be confident that it won't be damaged.
However, I often find myself wishing it had a sleeve or zippered pocket for things like manuals and cds, so be certain you don't need spaces for anything else.
Also, while the zippered opening in the back is a nice touch, it's too narrow to allow access to any ports except those in the center. This means that if your laptop's AC-jack is near one of the ends, you'll still have to remove it from the sleeve to charge it.
This sleeve may be right for you, but be sure it does everything you need it to or you could be disappointed.

This is a good case, it fits my Dell XPS M140 which has a 15 inch screen and an external battery, with about 1.5 inches at the top to spare. It is a soft wetsuit type of material. (And it smells like it.) There's some room for cable, adapters, or software. It's very basic but does the job, and is good for the price.

I do not really know what to expect of a product of this kind; it is a fact that it is a quality item as it comes to the way it looks; my 15.4' laptop fits in perfectly and I even have room left; I have used the sleeve for 3 months now and it doesn't show any kind weaknesses or signs of tearing, so I think that is a good value for money; furthermore the fabric it is made of looks quite durable, so I trust my sleeve when it comes to the basic protection it shoud provide.

It is not the prettiest of sleeves. Nor is it the most expensive of sleeves. But, it does its job. My 15.4" widescreen notebook fits inside fine -- there is still a little room around, but not much -- it does not fit like a glove though. It is really nice that the zipper tab can be buttoned down. I use this sleeve to protect my notebook inside my Timbuk2 bag when I have to lug around my notebook.

I ordered it from Amazon just coupple of days ago. I could not find it anywhere from Estonia, so it was perfect finding for me. However, I hoped it is smaller - it is actually too big for my slim (IBM X22) notebook. I like that it does not have any extra pockets, zippers what so ever, so it's easy and nice way to carry a laptop in a purse (could have been a bit smaller though!)

It's a simple sleeve to hold your notebook; I use this and a padded Tucano bag to protect the notebook; the only minor gripe is that it has "grown hair" in certain psrts as the material got scraped when taking the notebook in and out.

This is a great product, especially for the price. The zipper works well and snaps into place when closed. The cushioning is thick but not bulky, and is soft inside and out. I have an Inspiron 6400 15.4 inch Laptop, and it is a little loose. It will probably fit up to a 17 inch computer. Wide screens will probably fit poorly.

I bought this way back in September of 05, and would definitely recommend this for anyone buying a 15inch laptop. For the 5 years of constant abuse it has held up fantastically. Sure they're a small hole or two around the seems and the leather zipper tag, is almost gone, but the core sleeve itself does a fantastic job of securing the laptop. Being that i purchased this along with a bag for a laptop, i decided i wanted extra safety factor for the laptop since i was using it for school. I still use it today to secure my laptop even though both are reaching its 5th birthday.

This product is a good one. The case is made out of quality materials ano the inside has nothing that can harm the computuer. This particular case is a litle big for my laptop. I found a nice case of similar quality at Best Buy after I bought this one for half the cost...so maybe shop around to make sure that the case you buy fits your laptop snugly. Don't regret this purchase one bit though!

Is actually LARGER !!

I have a 15.6 inch laptop and the case is very big for the laptop. You should read the dimentions carefully to see if your laptop would be suitable. The case itself is very nice soft and well padded for the protection of the laptop. I blame the bad sizing on myself and if your laptop fits in the case I would recomend it.

I think my laptop is a pretty normal sized laptop. It's a compaq evo n610c, not sure what the exact size is, but the sleeve is about 1-1.5 inches to long and wide. Overall, though, it is great. I just wish it fit my laptop snugly. It would probably work perfectly for laptops that are a little on the large size, though.

I got this case and used it for transporting my laptop to and from school. It only took a few months for the zipper to break off as a result of the stiffness of the zipper. The zipper is stiff to zip and there is no ease about it. All four corners of the bag have holes from putting it in my backpack and constantly using it. I only used it about a year and a half and yes i used it with a broken zipper. It was still zippable because the metal piece that holds the handle of the zipper broke. I recommend this item if you are hardly going to use it but I definietly don't if you are going to use it everyday like I do or want something that will last a long time. I won't be purchasing another.
