This is a well made quality case. It won't provide the full protection you would get from a laptop bag, obviously, but it does protect your laptop from scratches and it keeps all your computer bits together, while traveling. It fit my Toshiba Satellite perfectly.

I had bought this item for my 17" widescreen HP DV9000Z. I was concerned about it fitting because this item is listed multiple times under different names and each has a different size. I had read in one review that it didn't stretch at all so I was really concerned. For the price I thought I would try it and return it if I had to. In reality it fits perfect and the material does infact stretch a good amount. Not only does it fit my notebook perfectly I was confused on the pictures that there was two small pockets on the front because of the two zippers. It is one large pocket enought of fit my power supply, 2 cords, mouse, and more. It streches around anything you put in there. I had bought it so I can keep everything together at home around the house and then easily slip it into my briefcase. I am so glad I had gotten this 15" eventhough alot of description says its for a 15.4 inch screen. If I had that size screen it would be too large. So make sure you measure your laptop and not assume the 15" means 15 inch screen.

I purchased it seeing the 16" size in the description and was not sure if this was meant for a 15.4". But, when you receive the package and pull the sleeve out of the box the packaging surrounding the sleeve says 15.4". I almost turned to a friend and gave it to him thinking it just might not fit my new Toshiba. I had an old sleeve that fit like a glove on my old 15.4, but wouldn't fit my new 16". This new sleeve fits the sides snugly, but I have about a one inch gap at the top when the zipper is closed. I use this gap space for just cords and cables. The pocket on the side (on the top if laying flat) are pass-through. You open both sides of the pocket (zippered) and you can put your whole arm through the opening. The pocket has enough room for my power cord, external hdd, and ext wireless mouse. Hope this review helps.

I bought this product a couple of months ago while looking for a solution to carry my 15-inch laptop on my own back, along with books and things I use on college. It's great, protects from scratches and the pocket is nice for carrying my wireless mouse, usb flash drives or blank cds.

My Acer 3004 15.4 widscreen fits perfectly inside this case.
The computer is 14.3 x 10.8 x 1.3 thick.
Even though the stated product dimensions state only .7 thick there is enough flexibility to allow for the thicker computer.
Alot of other bags I tried did not have the correct proportions for a wide screen. I avoided those because using one of those on a wide screen computer looks odd.

It's a great sleeve, works perfect with my DELL Inspiron 15.4, even y can put my mouse in the front bag, it's pretty large, and the charger too!

I bought this for a Toshiba Satellite 15.4" screen laptop. It has a tiny bit of extra space around the edges, but that's fine since it wasn't custom-made for that computer! The outside pocket is great for all the cords (plus my cellphone and ipod charging cords). Great accessory for someone who wants to slip the notebook into a traditional briefcase. My son has the same thing for his MacBook (which WAS custom-designed for the computer) and he is also very happy.

I bought the 15" Case Logic Student Laptop Shuttle for my 15.4" Apple MacBook Pro and it was definitely too big, not in length, but in the shorter of the two dimensions. The computer slides around too much. At first, I thought the size difference would not matter, but it is too big by about 2.5-3", somewhat defeating the purpose of protecting my computer. The zippered pockets on the outside are a great feature so if you have a closer-to-square laptop, this probably is a great choice.

This case is great for carrying my laptop in a backpack and I like the front pocket for storing the power cord and a mouse. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. However, it doesn't fit the laptop (15") very tightly, but for me that's not a problem.

I bought this soft case to protect my Dell Volstro laptop and to give it some cushioning when I pack it for the plane or when taking it along on motorcycle trips. With the extended length of the Volstro with it's 10-key number pad, I was afraid that it wouldn't fit, but this material stretches and fits my laptop perfectly, while still cushioning the bumps of travel. Good product!

Fits my Dell Inspiron 6000, not too tightly, but maybe that's not a bad thing (i was afraid it wouldn't fit at all.) Not the sturdiest of cases, but does it's job well, protecting from minor drops, damages and scratches. I also love the double ended zipper pocket, it's great for any accessories you many have... I use it for my power cord and mouse.

This fits my 16 inch Toshiba Laptop perfectly. The first time I used it it seemed a little snug, but as I have used it more it has stretched out just a bit. As a previous reviewer noted, it has about an inch or so space at the top, as to "pinch" it to help pick it up.

What is not shown in the picture is that the additional side pocket has two (2) zippers - one on each side. I had originally thought it was just a pass-through pocket, which made me hesitate in buying it. But it is great storage area for the power source, wireless mouse and other small stuff.

For 20 bucks, you can't beat it. I would absolutely recommend this product.

This offers great protection for my laptop and the zipper pocket is very nice. It is a bit too big for my Dell Latitude D820, so I did not give it 5 stars. I had a hard time researching how big it would be. Otherwise it was great.

Ordered it for the extra storage area (with it's own zipper) and I love that part about it. Could basically use it as a daily laptop case if you stick the power adapter in there.
It's not as thick/tough as maybe some other sleeves, but in my case this is just for rare use or to cover my laptop if I need to throw it in a backpack/suitcase.

It is a lot bigger than I thought, though. I saw the measurements and figured my 15.4" T61p with the 9cell battery would pretty much fill it up, but there is almost 1.5-2" of room in there length wise. It's not such a bad thing because it allows more stuff to fit in there, but if you want a firm/tight sleeve, make sure you take a close look at the measurements.

I bought this for an old lady in the neighbor.

The outer packaging shows it is for 15in laptop, but we checked the actual product dimension before ordering it. Though we are both happy with the red color and the smooth material, and the thoughtful zipper protection pad inside against any scratch, it is a bit weighty and feels like a wet cloth, not keeping rigidity around the opening-zippers. And, the lady will have to get used to inserting the laptop with two hands carefully.

I also have 15.4" HP laptop and mine(other brand name) was a snug fit and it doesn't move around once it is zipped, but, with this case Logic sleeve, I am slightly worried if her new laptop would get scratched shaken inside.

The outer pocket with two zippers on both ends is big enough to store the adapter and the mouse securely.

I don't travel much and I already had a messenger bad that I usually carry my books and stuff. I just wanted something with a little bit of protection for my laptop. This products serves this purpose. Its not heavily padded and the fit on my 15.4 vaio of not perfect. Its a little bit bigger than it should be. But its still fits in my bag.

this fits my computer perfectly. I cannot use the side pockets to put anything more than a usb drive in though, it gets too stretched out and distorted.

However I have only had it now for one semester of law school and it is already ripping along the edge.

Well it is a very good sleeve to keep your laptop in if you're going to be totting it around in a briefcase or a backpack (which I do). But it is a little bit to large for a 15.4" laptop. I have my Dell Studio XPS 16 in it and it still has a good inch and half of play in the top. The sipper pocket on the fron is great to store things in and it seems to keep everything nice and safe. I wish it had some sort of handle on it though, but then I guess it wouldn't be called a sleeve.

I do believe that the whole purpose of a laptop sleeve is so that the laptop inside would not slide so much. Once I received this sleeve, I immediately put my Macbook Pro in and it left a good 2"-3" space near the top. [Also, the Case Logic label sewn inside the side of the sleeve seem like it can potentially leave small scratches on the surface of the laptop].So I returned it and placed another order for a Case Logic laptop sleeve that is especially sized for the 15.4" Macbook Pro [Case Logic - 15.4" Macbook Pro Shuttle]. I'll see how that goes and compare the differences...

I'd prefer that this case fit my HP laptop a little more snugly. It's way too loose for my HP Pavilion. A handle would also be nice. Well constructed and the zipper accessory compartment is great.

i have a briefcase iwth internal padding & have used it succesfully with my laptop now for 3 years. on my first use with the caselogice however my screen cracked badly. whatever others say, & it is certainly cheaper than many, this is not the best protection available by a long stretch.

This product was supposed to be new, but when I got it the zipper was already broken. I sent it back in, and when I received my money back they didn't even refund me for the shipping. I will never use this seller again, and I encourage others not to. Very bad service.
