If you have the Mogul you know the battery life is poor. This battery makes the Mogul a better phone. One charge when you go to sleep and you can leave your car charger at home because the charge will last a good two days on standby. Like with all batteries, you should not overcharge your battery. I would suggest turning off your device while being charged that way your Mogul will not get hot during the charging process. Your battery will be happier for it too.

I originally figured that for such a low price, I was probably going to be disappointed with the performance. Nothing could be further from the truth. The extended battery life has actually made this phone a useful business tool - for the entire day. The battery cover seems flimsy at first but I've had my phone with this new battery for 4 months without a single problem and I'm not gentle on my equipment.

This was a purchase well worth the money. It's great having my phone last through the day and some days lasting two days. I recommend this battery to anyone who is thinking about buying. The extra mass on the back is barely noticeable.

This battery lasts for two days on one charge, where the original battery that came with my phone would need charging by lunch-time! I average 5000 to 7000 minutes a month and have 5 e-mail accounts syncing every hour. Plus Outlook!

This battery has made a HUGE difference. Today alone I was on my 3rd day without a charge and still had 60% of battery life left. I never had that kind of battery time even when the phone was brand new. At this price it is a no brainer and encourage everyone that no longer wants to be tied to their phone charger to get this.
I was worried about getting a non HTC battery but said at this price I'll give it a shot. It works!!! I would not give it a second thought and have suggested to other in my business who have the phone to do the same.

My OEM battery has become fairly short lived so I bought this battery as a replacement. After carrying my phone with this battery for a couple days, the extra bulk got to me and I switched back to my regular battery. However, I took this battery with on a couple long road trips recently so I could use my phone as an MP3 player and it held up quite well. I did not measure exactly but I believe I was able to listen to 8-9 hours of music continuously (using GS Player) before needing a charge. This made the battery well worth the investment. I wouldn't recommend this as an OEM replacement, but as a standby or travel battery it's great.

I have waited to review this battery until I have used the battery for a bit. I have been using it for approximately one month and it is perfect. I highly recomend this battery if you need more charge time and don't mind the extra size it adds.

This battery is almost perfect. I recharge my phone every night (got used to doing that with the stock battery), so I haven't ever run this battery down. With a full day of use, I have about 60 - 70% charge left at the end of the day. The phone won't fit in my holster now, but that's a small price to pay for the convenience.

I have been really grateful for this battery. It lasts several days (I haven't bothered to measure how many). I plug it in as needed, but it has never been a hassle. Shipment was just as agreed. The paint on the sharp edges of the cover is wearing away--it looks less professional now.

The phone grew a little bit in size but the battery life is phenomenal. I work in an area where I am roaming constantly (my old phone would only last 4 hours and with the stock battery my mogul would only last a day) Now I'm getting at least double the total battery time. Great Product!

I am so glad I bought this battery! I no longer have to worry about charging my xv6800 every single time I get in my vehicle. I also don't have to be worried about how much time I spend surfing the web among other things. The cover fits perfectly and stays locked on securely. The only draw back is the actual size. It is a little deep, but I am willing to deal with it for the extra power!

I can watch over 4 hours of TV with bluetooth on and the screen at full brightness. I can go a week of standby without charging. It's a little bulky now but the case fit perfectly and is secure. Can't beat it for the price.

As an extended battery if functions perfectly. Charges quickly and lasts for days (without over usage). It does however almost double the size of the phone. I only use it if I know I will be working in a building with little to no signal (that drains my old battery very quickly) or where I will be driving through a lot of roaming areas. I will probably use it on vacations as well, since there is less downtime for charging then.

This is a must-have for the Verizon XV6800. It does make the phone a bit bulkier, and the plastic cover is a bit flimsy (in fact, this is my second battery - my first battery was still going strong, but the plastic cover fell apart over time), but it is well worth it as you no longer have to worry about whether or not your phone will die with the extended battery.

I bought this for $7. On the Sprint site I would have paid $60. Everything appears to be in working order. Thumbs up. Only complaint is how big the battery is, but I'm pretty sure that would be true for any manufacturer of this batter type.

I got this battery today. Works fine, but the plastic they use for the extended battery back piece is a bit thin/cheap. Really that's the only negative thing I can say though. The battery doesn't add much girth to my phone. So I'm still using the same case for it. The phone with the new extended back no longer fits in my desk charger. But, luckily, I have one of those desk chargers with a spare battery compartment. And the extended battery does fit into that spare battery area - where it charges just fine. By the way, the notation on the battery is not in mAh, but in Wh. It says it's 8.9Wh which DOES work out to a bit more than 2400 mAh by my calculations. So don't let that throw you. I would definitely order this product again. Totally worth it!

Product is defiantly worth the cost. The original batter would not last more then a few hours with blue tooth mode on. With this battery blue tooth can be on for several hours and still have charge.

This higher-capacity battery does clearly provide significantly better battery life than the OEM battery that came with my phone. Granted, my original battery was showing serious signs of performance degradation after two years of charge/discharge cycles, but the performance of this new battery surpasses that of the original battery even when it was new.

The replacement battery cover, which is required to accommodate the battery's increased thickness, is molded of thin plastic (as was my original cover) but it seems sufficient for the job. It fits my Verizon XV6800 perfectly, although my phone's latch needed just a bit of coaxing to snap into the locking position to secure the cover. My only real complaint about the replacement cover is that its exterior color is different from that of the molded plastic, meaning that eventually that layer of color will begin to wear away giving it a worn look. For that reason, I would have preferred that the cover was simply that of the black molded plastic instead of the metallic silver color (which actually looks different from the flat-gray plastic in the Amazon photo). But functionally, it works fine.

As others have noted, the extended cover does require an additional quarter-inch or so of depth in your phone case, so ensure that your existing one will accommodate the difference unless you are prepared to add the expense of a new case into your cost calculation.

The battery adds heft to an already heavy phone, however the extended ability to run the phone into the ground without burning the battry is awesome. I can run my bluetooth headset all day with this battery.

The battery works just fine nothing wrong with it. But if you compare it to the normal battery, it really isn't much better. It might even be worse than my mogul's regular battery was messed up.

I bought this battery to replace the dying battery on my mogul (old battery wouldn't last thru' the day - even with minimal use). This new battery that I received had a label indicating 3.7V / 6.7Wh
This translates to 1810 mAH (it is advertised as 2400mAH). Don't get me wrong, it is a decent battery (compared to what I had). It lasts me a couple of days with normal use - but the stock battery (when it was new) also lasted me a coule of days with normal use. So, I'm not sure I'd call ths an "extended" battery. :)
For the price though, it is a good buy.

I bought this extended battery for my wife because her original battery was lasting only a day and sometimes not even a full day. However, she has seen not difference in battery life with this new battery even thought it is supposedly rated over double the mAh! Frankly, I do not understand how this is possible, but that is my story and I am sticking to it.

after reading the reviews here i was expecting a significant increase in battery life. unfortunately, i found it only gave me about a 20% longer usage than the original battery. i'm not a heavy phone user and just an occasional texter, and access my email and facebook (for reading only) no more than twice a day, and i turn my phone off every night. this battery didn't even last me two days without running out of juice. i am disappointed, but i guess for the price i paid, it was a pretty good deal for a new battery. i was just hoping to get some more life out of it.

The battery does not run more than 24 hours. So, it has to be recharged every day. Nevertheless, they advertised this product working up 96 hours without recharging it.
